17th October 2009....Festival of Lights...But we are not there to celebrate the same in India. So we planned to go to New Jersey. We took Amtrak from Boston and reached New Jersey Metro park station at 8.30 pm. My cousin took us to his home and had a brief discussions about the plans. After such a long stay in US, that night we had a wonderful Indian food...
The next day as usual the climate is not willing to co-operate with us. But at some point only drizzling was there. So we planned to move ahead to "Statue of Liberty". We reached the point of destination at some where around 3pm on Saturday. Took more precautions as the travel is through Ferry on Hudson river. Here we go with some snaps taken around that place..

The Missing Building from the city view..Since we stayed only 36 Hrs we are not able to cover more. But the places we cover in 36hrs are more worthy's to our trip to New York. We took the same Amtrak from Metro Park on Sunday evening and reached our destination by 9.30 pm.
